The image begins as an homage to Man Ray's "Le Violin." This outline references the photographer/mother's favorite artist, and provides a vessel which Alexandra fills in with an exuberant set of doodles. The title refers to the home of the gods, the home therefore of infinite possibilities and power struggles. As a young woman, she expresses the power struggle that goes on within a young person at that time of life when everything exists as possibility to be examined, a kind of stream of consciousness of all the forces pulling at her. She is poised at a great height, examining the future.
