Lialia, a wonderful weaver and photographer, worked with me on the project "REWOVEN: photographs thread words" which is showing at Printworks Gallery Chicago from December 6th, 2013 through Janurary 4th, 2014.

Arthur Lerner is a fine artist, graduate of the School of the Art Insititute of Chicago, Professor Emeritus of Art, Daley College, Chicago City Colleges, where he served as Department Chair and Distinguished Professor.. He has been called a mystical figurative painter, with a love of the figure and its relationship to the canvas and space. He shows at Printworks Gallery, Chicago, and his current series involves mythology.
